The playlist of this week’s Saturday Sounds comes from Irene Bertirotti, one of the first people to believe in The Smoke Detector (besides our closest friends). We want to take this chance and thank her for that, sometimes we all need someone that believes in us.
As the time passed we realized that we liked a lot Irene’s taste in music and since she likes what’s on this little piece of the internet we do have common passions too. So now probably you understand a bit better why we asked her to do a playlist for us (if not, you will for sure when you’ll start listening to it). When asked why this songs, Irene said:
“It’s difficult to explain why I’ve chosen this songs. They are simply part of me, they accompanied me till now. Some I “carry” with me for ten/ fifteen years now, some arrived suddenly and got a place in my heart. Each of them has its unforgettable memory. There’s no need to explain. This is me, or better yet, this is a good part of me, and I am happy and honored to share with you my love for music.”
