Memobottle Love

  • Ivona Josipovic
  • 7 January 2016

I recently fell in love with a bottle. Yes, you read it right, a bottle. Don’t get any wrong ideas. It wasn’t because it was filled with some precious liquor, but I had a design crush. Memobottle has a perfect design – simple, practical and very cool. And that’s what made me love it so much.

We recently discussed how hydrating is really important, and having a bottle that you can easily carry around can make that so much easier. What is special about memobottle is that it’s super thin, kind of like a book or a magazine. We all have enough space in our purses to fit this kind of bottle. The shape and dimensions make the bottle very practical, but also very cool. It is made from see-through BPA-free plastic and you get a white and black bottle cap with it. You can choose between A5 and A6 formats, depending on your needs. What I like the most is that because of the thin design the bottle doesn’t make your purse look super full or weirdly shaped. It just fits right in without making a mess.

What was also interesting is that the whole project was funded by a Kickstarter campaign back in 2014. The founders had a goal of collecting 15.000 but ended up receiving over 200.000$. That was enough for Jesse Leeworthy and Jonathan Byrt to make their idea into reality. Because of the great design I am really happy to hear that the crowd believed in them and helped kick start their journey.

You can use their website to search for stores selling the goods or just order yours online.

really chic way of carry water. So much more CONVENIENT than your average water bottle and those horrible large gym water CANISTERS. Really sleek and a conversation starter as well. Great find!
