As you already know I’m totally hooked on podcasts. I love to listen to them when I’m in the subway, at the gym, taking a walk and even doing my hair. Podcasts are teaching me new things, making me laugh, and they help me hear a lot of interesting stories. As I already recommended some of my favourites, this time I wanted to show you what I’ve discovered in the mean time, some new names that have popped up that I find very inspirational and empowering. I bring you 5 girl power podcasts that talk about different topics like friendship, work and relationships. What they all have in common is that you will get an extra kick out of them to go out there and achieve your dreams. And we all need a bit of that from time to time, right? So who better to inspire us than some amazing ladies that share their journeys. I hope you will find some interesting stories here that you’ll enjoy as much as I do. Let’s start…
I was so happy to hear that Garance Dore is continuing her Pardon my French series (that was on YouTube) as a podcast. I immediately subscribed and I’m loving it. There are only a few episodes by now and I look forward to every new one coming. Check it out here.
Sophia Amoruso, that you may know from Nasty Gal and her book #GIRLBOSS, know has a podcast called #girlboss radio. Get ready to be inspired by some amazing ladies that share their life and career stories. It will give you that extra push to to kick asses and become your own version of a girl boss.
Monocycle with Leandra Medine is a fun short podcast hosted by Leandra from Man Repeller. If we know anything about Leandra it’s that she is very honest and funny as hell, so topics of her talk go from fashion to relationships and everywhere in-between. Still, any topic that she touches becomes somehow personal and relatable. I could listen to her for hours!
Women Of the Hour unfortunately has only five full episodes covering topics like friendship, body, love and sex. It is done by Lena Dunham (yes, that Lena) that talks to some amazing people. There are stories that can make you laugh and the ones that can make you cry, but over all you will enjoy in-depth dialogs that touch a lot of interesting topics.
Stuff Mom Never Told You is the latest member to join my list. I love that hosts Cristen Conger and Caroline Ervin are getting into it without fear of talking about sex and gender. I also enjoy their episodes about change makers that puts motivational women into spotlight. These are great for when you feel unmotivated and need some inspo to get back to being your best self.
Hope you enjoy listening to my 5 girl power podcasts and if you have any recommendations for podcasts that you love PLEASE share with us in the comments. I would love to hear what you’re listening to.

Hi Rach! I think you would enjoy it. Just download podcast app on your phone and search for some of these. It is really worth a shot. Let me know how it goes 🙂
Very cool list! I actually recently got into podcasts, and downloaded 3 out of the 5 listed prior to my travels last month. They’re totally inspiring.
