June is here which means it’s almost time for vacation! I am ready for the beach, waves, salt in my hair, tanned skin and lots of sunshine. As my trip is approaching it’s time to dust of that bikini and prepare all the details that help me have fun in the sun. While thinking about what I must pack in my suitcase I decided to post beach day essentials here as well, sharing my tips and hoping to get some from you guys as well. Here are my beach must-haves.
Swimsuit – It’s obvious you need a swimsuit for a beach, but choosing the right one is not always easy. I say you take your time picking the one that you’ll enjoy wearing. As I already have some more colourful two-pieces I chose a white one-piece from Zara that is simple and cool, but a bit sexy too. I bet it looks great when you get some tan.
Towel – You know that I love watermelon, so it’s no wonder I chose to show you this towel! Just how fun is it? It’s also quite spacious which I love and it makes me smile every time I look at it. They’re sold out on Asos, but I hope they’ll get some more soon. Too cute!
Bag – I chose this H&M bag because it’s cute, has enough space for everything, and I also think you can wear it throughout the summer.
Hat – These hats are all the rage now, at least on my Instagram feed. I found this one by Eugenia Kim and I love it! As they are a bit expensive you can try to make a DIY project and make your own version.
Sunglasses – This is another sold out item that I wanna get my hands on. I’m in love with these pink Ray Ban sunglasses. I am not too crazy about pink normally, but these I just can’t resist. Whatever size, brand, shape and colour you prefer, sunglasses are a must for any sunny day.
Sunscreen – As U2 sings, I still haven’t found what I’m looking for in the sunscreen department. I need to find the best formula for my skin, and as I want it to be as much chemical-free I hope this guide from EWG will help. Any brands that you would recommend?
Entertainment essentials – a great playlist, some podcasts, good book, favourite magazines and a stack of cards are among my favourites. I also like playing beach volleyball, but I usually borrow the ball from someone as it is a big item to carry around. What are your favourite beach activities?
