“Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls” is a book made by rebel women who don’t conform to normality. They want to celebrate amazing women of different ages that come from all around the world.
A while ago one of my friends sent me the video below and it struck me so bad that I needed to share it with everyone. Therefore here I am, sharing.
I’ve actually never thought about it, but yes, basically all of the good night books from my childhood were like this. The girl always needed to be saved by the Prince Charming. She was never aspiring to do or become something. She was just supposed to be pretty and take care of house chores.
So from my point of view, Rebel Girls Book is exactly what every little girl needs to read before growing up. They need strong, independent female figures that they can idolize. They need to know that their purpose in life is not only to look pretty and take care of the house and family. And the Rebel Girls Book is here to give them just that.
“Good night stories for rebel girls” is a book about 100 inspiring women, from Elizabeth I to Frida Kahlo to Hillary Clinton. It’s a book about the power of the feminine, about how we don’t really need saving, we can make it on our own and do it pretty well if I might add. Last, but not least, it’s a book for all of us to read.
If I managed to convince you that you need this book in your life, get your own copy by ordering it on the Rebel Girls website. And maybe make it a gift for a little girl growing up.
Do not forget to follow them on Facebook and Instagram. I am sure they have more great, rebellious ideas waiting to happen.

This book sounds amazing! As you mentioned, there are not enough books where women are the heroines. Def a perfect book for girls and boys!
