Vans teamed up with Van Gogh Museum to launch a collection inspired by the artist’s iconic paintings.
Fashion and art often intertwine. Vans is certainly one of the brands that appreciate art as they have collaborated with various artists. This time they took a page straight out of the history of the art book. They brought some of the legendary Van Gogh paintings into life with their latest collection. The items include shoes, hats, backpacks and various articles of clothing.
All the designs are inspired by famous paintings like Skull, Sunflowers, Almond Blossom and Van Gog’s self-portrait. Not only can you enjoy your wearable art, but part of the revenue from the sales will be donated to the Van Gogh Museum for preserving these pieces of art for future generations. Adriaan Dönszelmann, Managing Director of the museum said that they are delighted with the collection: “It ties in with our mission to make the life and work of Vincent van Gogh accessible to as many people as possible in order to enrich and inspire them.”
The collection is already available to shop so hurry up if you want to get yourself some Vans Gogh. 😉
