This decade is all about women finding their voices, speaking up and being heard. These 5 illustrators we love following on Instagram celebrate womanhood in many different ways in their works.

Art is a powerful medium and Instagram is a great platform to share it, so it’s no wonder IG became our favourite art gallery. We turn to it to see new works by artists we love, and to discover new talents from around the world.

As they say ‘art imitates life’ and I guess with the last decade and all that it brought it is no surprise that more female voices are being heard. Or in this case, being seen. We bring you some amazing illustrators whose works are about celebrating womanhood in all it’s glory and messiness. It’s about empowerment, girls supporting girls, and talking about all the things in our lives that didn’t use to get much space and attention even though they are supper important. Like, you know, periods, PMS, etc.
