Benjamin Von Wong Photography

I can thank Pinterest for introducing me to Benjamin Von Wong, a photographer and storyteller that creates pure magic.

He’s a photographer and visual artist that creates engaging pieces that (often) go viral. Benjamin Von Wong grabs viewers attention with a fusion of special effects and cool concepts. His work often seems out of this world. Impossible is not a word for this engineer turned photographer! He uses his engineering background to solve any technical challenges that he faces in his creative work.

Not only is Benjamin Von Wong super creative, he also uses his voice for important issues.

What I found interesting about Benjamin’s work is that he doesn’t only create beautiful images. He uses his voice to draw attention to important issues like pollution. His work triggers conversation and engages its audience, making a big social impact. The process of creating his photographs is often filmed and documented. That gives us an interesting insight into how much work goes behind one image. These videos are also used as a narrating platform for raising awareness and informing the public about modern day social issues. It would be crazy not to mention his underwater series that he shot in Bali. With the help of dedicated scuba divers and passionate locals, a model in dreamy white dress was captured at the bottom of the sea next to a shipwreck. It looks even better than it sounds.
