Lora Zombie Art

  • Ivona Josipovic
  • 8 October 2015

They say art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. In the case of Lora Zombie art, her pieces will make you feel comfort, it will make you feel disturbed but all in all – it will make you react. She describes her work as grunge art and there are a lot of rebellious elements to it. But, don’t be fooled, Lora is not a rebel without a cause. She sends various messages through her art pieces that are very urban, colourful and street art like.

lora zombie

Lora was born in the small town in Russia back in 1990. She dreamt of becoming an artist so she taught herself how to paint. Her efforts paid of as she gained worldwide recognition in the late 2000’s when her work started reaching people online. Her story was spreading through various blogs and social media, and helped grow her career that now consists of exhibitions in LA, Toronto, NY and Russia.

Lora Zombie Hero time

I personally like Lora’s work because it’s modern, it marches to the beat of its own drum and shoots straight to the point. If I had to choose one piece I like the most it would definitely be Love Burns (first picture bellow). If you agree with me and want to see more visit Lora’s website and discover your favourite pieces.
