Terrarium Lamps by Nui Studio

I like plants, but I sustain from buying them as I am not adult enough to take good care of them. Now Nui studio (formerly known as We Love Eames) has offered the coolest solution to my problem that also looks amazing. Their terrarium lamps are self-sustaining eco systems, which means that they don’t require watering nor natural light. That’s right – the installed LED lights are sufficient enough to help these plants in their photosynthesis process.

Terrarium Lamps by Nui Studio

This project is called Mygdal Plant Lamp and the name is a tribute to the hometown of glassmaker Peter Kuchinke that comes from Denmark. All terrarium lamps by Nui studio are made with aluminium and mouth-blown glass. You can choose between two versions of the lamp, one hanging for a ceiling or the other that stands of the flat surface. Now, if you live in the nordic area or it’s just that your apartment doesn’t have much needed light for a lush plant life, this is a cool way to add a touch of green to your living space.
